Give Lippman Students the Gift of Israel

In the spring of 2017, seventh and eighth grade students at The Lippman School will travel to Israel for a trip of a lifetime! For two weeks, they will experience such places as Jerusalem and the Old City there, Akron’s sister city, Kiryat Ekron, and Tel-Aviv. Students will watch the sun rise at the top of Masada, float in the Dead Sea, ride camels in the desert and visit our previous shlichim. They will also travel to the Red Sea, the Golan Heights, and the Sea of Galilee before returning home.

Experiencing Israel at this developmental stage in a young person’s life deepens their sense of spirituality and understanding of their relevance as a global citizen in our multicultural society. Please join us in providing this unique educational experience to the students of The Lippman School.

This year, three generous donors have issued a challenge grant of $20,000. This means for every dollar you give, these donors will match it dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 to make this amazing opportunity affordable for all students.

If you would like to contribute to the match, please call the school at 330-836-0419 to make your donation before Dec. 31 or visit thelippmanschool.org/IsraelMatch to donate online. If you have any questions, please contact Sam Chestnut at The Lippman School.
